Becoming a misting equipment distributor in Europe

European installers buy equipment, not brochures. The distributor relationship is decided by four things: branding, spare parts, documentation and lead time.

The four questions worth asking any supplier

Ask these before discussing margin. Each one removes a category of risk that shows up in year two, when the customer is standing in front of you with a system that needs a part.

  • Can you quote the nozzle part number and keep it in production? If a supplier changes nozzle geometry, every system you installed needs its pipework revisited.
  • What is included in the documentation set? For a European market you will want specification sheets and, for the electrical and machinery aspects, clarity on which standards your panel is built to and what documentation is available. Ask for it in writing, and expect an honest "this we cannot provide" rather than a vague yes.
  • How is OEM handled — cabinet, label, manual language, control logic? Can the first article be photographed before mass production?
  • What is the warranty process from Europe, and what does a claim actually require? Twelve months on the pump unit is our standard, with spare parts available separately.

Voltage, frequency and local electrical practice

Europe is predominantly 230 V/50 Hz with three-phase 400 V on larger sites. We build panels to the voltage and phase you specify, and control logic can be configured for local practice. The final connection and any local certification of the installation are the responsibility of the installing electrician — we state clearly what we supply and what the installer must provide.

A sensible way to start

Most distributors begin with one or two systems for a pilot installation plus a spare nozzle and filter kit, run them on real projects, and then place a container order with distributor pricing. We support that sequence: our minimum is one set, models can be mixed in one shipment, and the spare-parts list is quoted with the original equipment so the parts that wear are on your shelf from day one.

Questions

Common questions — Europe

Can we have our own brand on the equipment?

Yes. Cabinet, labels, manual language, control logic and voltage are all configurable, and we photograph the first article before mass production so there is no surprise on the container.

What certifications can you provide?

Tell us which market and which requirement applies (for example the machinery, electrical or EMC aspects) and we will state exactly what documentation we can supply and what we cannot. We do not claim certificates we cannot produce.

Can you match nozzles we already have in stock?

Usually. Send a sample nozzle and, if possible, a fitting and tubing sample; we identify the thread, orifice and tubing specification and quote equivalent parts, so existing pipework does not have to be redone.
