Misting system spare parts: nozzles, tubing and matching what you already installed

Installers do not lose customers when a pump fails — they lose them when a nozzle cannot be replaced. Spare-parts supply is the real after-sales product.

The parts that actually wear

In normal operation, the wearing parts are predictable — and cheap compared with the downtime they cause.

  • Nozzles: the first wear item. Ruby orifices hold their pattern far longer than plain metal, but they still need replacement at the published interval of about 2 years or more.
  • Inlet filter elements: the part that protects everything else, and the one most often neglected. Clean or replace on the schedule, not when nozzles clog.
  • Solenoid valves: moving parts, sensitive to water quality. Keep one spare per zone size.
  • Pump wear parts: seals and valves on the plunger pump. Replace on the maintenance interval to protect the unit, which is specified at 5 years or more.
  • Tubing and fittings: usually only damaged rather than worn — by UV, frost or site traffic.

Matching parts to a system you did not buy from us

This is the most common enquiry from installers: a system is in the ground, the client wants it serviced, and the original supplier has disappeared. Send us a nozzle and, if possible, a fitting and tubing sample, and we will identify the thread, orifice and tubing specification and quote equivalent parts. Matching the existing nozzle type is what allows you to service without redoing the pipework.

Keeping a system serviceable

Three habits extend the life of any misting installation: filter maintenance on schedule, a seasonal flush before the first run of the year, and a spare set of nozzles on the shelf. If you maintain customer systems, we can quote a standard spares kit at the same time as the original equipment so the parts are on site from day one.

Questions

Common questions — Installer support

Can you supply nozzles that fit another brand?

Usually, if the thread and orifice can be identified. Send a sample nozzle and we will confirm the match and quote equivalent parts — no need to replace the pipework.

How often should nozzles be replaced?

The published service life is two years or more. In practice, replace when the spray pattern becomes visibly uneven or when cleaning no longer restores it, and always keep a spare set so a failed nozzle is not a service call.

Do you supply complete spare-parts kits?

Yes — a kit matched to the system you installed, with nozzles, filter elements, fittings and the common pump wear parts, quoted alongside the original equipment so it ships with the order.
