Mosquito control for Singapore condos and landed homes

Singapore manages mosquitoes at national level, and property managers still have to keep their own grounds usable. That is the layer a fixed perimeter system covers.

Dense planting is the design problem

In Singapore the boundary you need to defend is often invisible — behind shrubs, along service drains, under planters. Tubing is run at low level and nozzles are set to treat the air where people sit, not to soak the planting. That distinction is what separates an installation that works from one that damages landscaping.

Humidity, rain and scheduling

Mosquito activity here is driven by rain as much as by time of day, so a rigid clock is the wrong control. We recommend a rain pause plus activity-based cycles: short bursts (the published pattern is 5–10 minutes every 2–4 hours) placed on the dawn and dusk windows and after rainfall, rather than a long afternoon run.

For management corporations and landed homes

Both cases come down to the same three questions, and we answer them in writing before quoting:

  • Where does the pump and tank go, and who has access to it?
  • How does the system interact with existing maintenance, landscaping and drainage works?
  • What is the monthly concentrate consumption, and who is responsible for refilling and for the label documentation?
  • Which formulation is used, and where is its safety data sheet kept?

Questions

Common questions — Southeast Asia

Is this instead of national fogging programmes?

No. Public programmes address public areas and breeding sites. A perimeter system protects the specific grounds you are responsible for, on a schedule you control.

Will it harm plants or fish ponds?

Nozzle placement keeps the spray inside the treated zone and away from water features; tell us about ponds, fish tanks or edible plants at survey stage so we can adjust layout and timing.

How is consumption controlled?

By zoning and cycling: only the areas in use are treated, and cycles are short. The quotation states the tank size and a monthly consumption estimate so the running cost is known before installation.
