High-Pressure Humidification System
Fine water mist for humidity control in sheds, greenhouses and workshops
View detailsInland Australia runs hot and dry: evaporative cooling performs at its best, and a fogging system can hold a greenhouse within a workable band through the afternoon peak. Coastal and northern regions run hot and humid, where the achievable temperature reduction is smaller and the control has to throttle back to avoid adding moisture to air that cannot absorb it. Tell us the location rather than only the greenhouse dimensions — the specification changes with it.
Pad systems cool the air that passes through the pad, which is fine for a sealed, fan-ventilated house. Fogging cools the air wherever air moves, so it also suits shade houses, packing sheds and houses that are not airtight. It is also easier to retrofit — lines and nozzles fix to existing structure rather than requiring a pad wall.
Published consumption is 3–8 L/min depending on nozzle count and duty. Where water is from tanks or a bore, send a description of hardness and silt — it decides the filtration, and filtration is what keeps fine nozzles working. Power is usually a single-phase or three-phase connection, and the connection itself should be made by a licensed electrician to local requirements.

Request a quotation Size my systemThe published working figure for these systems is 5–10 °C reduction in perceived temperature in the treated zone, with the greatest benefit during the afternoon peak. In humid coastal conditions, expect less.
No — these are cooling and humidification systems. Frost protection is a different engineering problem and we would rather say so than stretch a system beyond what it does.
At 1–15 μm the droplets evaporate in the air. Wet foliage comes from coarse spray, which is why droplet size is the specification we settle first.
